Walk and Talk Therapy is suitable for all shapes and sizes and most levels of fitness. Walk and Talk Therapy is not an exercise or endurance session, we walk at your pace, stopping when you like. The client is in control.
Sa Reay Counselling requires a minimum 24 hours notice for any cancellation if you are unable to attend a scheduled session. Cancellations after that time period or a No Show will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
The session will go ahead! In light rain we will go ahead with raincoats and/or umbrellas. All locations have undercover areas we can sit at and continue with the session. Locations also have cafes near-by and the session can be relocated to a cafe. If it looks like rain, your therapist will contact you prior to the session and discuss the options. The client's comfort is the top priority.
Government rebates from Medicare do not apply to Counselling services at present. The gap amount you would pay for many medicare psychological services are the same as the therapy fee.
You do not need a Mental Health Plan or referral from your treating team or GP to access Sa Reay Counselling services
