Walk and Talk Therapy is suitable for all shapes and sizes and most levels of fitness. Walk and Talk Therapy is not an exercise or endurance session, we walk at your pace, stopping when you like. The client is in control.
Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is cancelled less than 24 hours prior, the full fee will be charged.
The session will go ahead! In light rain we will go ahead with raincoats and/or umbrellas. All locations have undercover areas we can sit at and continue with the session. Locations also have cafes near-by and the session can be relocated to a cafe. If it looks like rain, your therapist will contact you prior to the session and discuss the options. The client's comfort is the top priority.
Government rebates from Medicare do not apply to Counselling services at present. The gap amount you would pay for many medicare psychological services are usually the same as the therapy fee.
